Once you’re standing before the appropriate person, kindly explain what www.petaDishoom.com is all about, and then ask if you can showcase our Web site simply by making it the home page for all the computers for at least one month. Below are some handy tips on how to get started.

First, Join the petaDishoom Street Team
The only way to win prizes for your hard work is to join the Street Team. Also, keep in mind that the prizes offered in exchange for completing this mission are only for people who live in India. So, look over the site and jot some notes down about what you like about petaDishoom. You could mention that petaDishoom gives young people a fun foundation to get active for animals by featuring exclusive interviews with their favourite animal-friendly stars, offering cool prizes in exchange for being compassionate to animals and providing the latest scoop on all things cruelty-free. The Web site also includes a blog which is frequently updated by PETA campaigners and message boards for young people to share their interest in animal rights.

Of course, you could always plop yourself in front of one of the café’s many computers, pull up www.petaDishoom.com and let the site speak for itself (especially if you find yourself suddenly at a loss for words!).

Know How to Set Up a Home Page
Obviously, if you walk into a café run by cybergeeks, every single person that works there is bound to know how to set a particular Web site as a home page. But, since you’re the one asking them to change what they already have going on, it would be wise for you to know what you’re asking! Luckily, it’s cake. Once you’ve logged on to Internet Explorer, here’s what you do: Go to the “Tools” drop-down menu and select “Internet Options”. You’ll see a little home-page box with an address field – guess what you type into that little field? That’s right: “www.petaDishoom.com”. Then, click “OK” and you’re all set!

Now that you know what to do and how to do it, you’re probably curious as to what you’ll get in return. Here’s the deal:

There’s just one catch: You have to send us a letter from the cybercafé owners or managers stating that they have made petaDishoom the home page on all their computers.
