Get Active on the Internet!
We do our best to get the animal rights message out there loud and clear, but sometimes it takes a little extra push. That’s where you come in.
If you’re reading this, then someone, somewhere, pointed you to www.petaDishoom.com, and here you are, ready to get active and earn cool prizes while you’re at it. Now it’s your turn to be the person doing the pointing, and what better way to do that than via the Internet? What we’re asking is simple, but the pay-off is hefty. Not only will you earn free goodies, but you’ll bring new visitors to our site – most likely individuals who probably would never have heard about us, if not for you.
Here’s the deal: Encourage friends, family and strangers to visit www.petaDishoom.com on your blog, e-group or friends network, like MySpace, Orkut, Ryze, Friendster or hi5 to name just a few. Use your best salesperson techniques and promote the site for what it is – a fun place to learn about a very serious issue. It can be as easy as writing about why you like the site and what you’ve learned since discovering it. Or, you could discuss our latest contest or exclusive interview. Then again, you may prefer to link to one of our many videos or wallpaper designs. Of course, you could do all of the above and more – for further tips, check out petaDishoom’s “Online Activism” guide. Finally, remember to save the links to all your posts, because you’ll need to send them to us to earn your rewards!
Once you’ve finished, be extra sure that you’ve officially joined our Street Team and send an e-mail to us at StreetTeamIndia@petaindia.org containing the links to your various posts. In the e-mail, remember to include your mailing address and phone number as well as a short explanation about what we’re looking at (we get a ton of e-mails, so we don’t want to mistake yours for something else!). Please keep in mind that you need to send all the links to us in one e-mail so we can accurately tally up your winnings. In other words, if you send us a second e-mail with more links, you won’t get the ultimate prize; rather, it’ll be kinda like you’re starting all over again. Here are the prizes for this mission:
