We’re going to let you in on a little not-so-secret secret. Ready? Like any accessory, belts can make or break an outfit. We know – alert the media before it’s too late. We should warn you, however, that if you take this news lightly, you could end up being a social outcast for the rest of your inappropriately accessorised existence. In fact, you may already be one of the shunned ones. If that’s the case, have you considered that it could be as simple as the belt that you’re wearing?

Fortunately, finding the perfect vegan belt is a cinch. Many of the hottest belts are not only unisex, but animal-free. It seems that designers have finally realised that synthetic materials – like elastic, canvas, bead, cloth, jute, plastic and pleather – are far more versatile and long-lasting than the skin of a dead animal.
